Privacy and LGPD
Demo text from a fictitious company. It isn't a real policy and doesn't replace legal advice.
Who we are
Vela RH is a fictitious company. This text exists to show what an HR software privacy page would look like and doesn't describe the data processing of any real company.
This site's data
This portfolio site doesn't collect personal data. The booking form and the product demo work only in your browser: nothing is sent to any server.
The demo saves your progress (checked tasks, closed payroll, approved documents) in the browser tab's storage, which is cleared when you close the tab or click “Restart demo”.
Data Vela would process for its customers
In a real HR service, the customer company is the controller of its employees' data, and the software vendor acts as the processor, handling data according to the customer's instructions.
The most common data is: identification, contact, contract data, working hours, remuneration, dependents, bank details and, when required by law, occupational health data, which is sensitive data.
Legal bases
Most HR processing relies on the employer's compliance with legal or regulatory obligations and on the performance of the employment contract. Sensitive data, such as the occupational health certificate, has its own legal bases under the LGPD.
Data subjects' rights
Confirmation of processing, access, correction, anonymization, portability, information about sharing and review of automated decisions, among others provided for in art. 18 of the LGPD.
In a real service, requests would go through the data protection officer's channel. Here, the contact is fictitious: privacidade@vela-rh.example.
Security and retention
Role-based access control, logging access to sensitive data, encryption and backups are expected practices for HR software. Retention periods follow labor and social security law.
