Gupy · 2022 and 2023 · Culture · Feedback

Culture and feedback day to day

At Gupy, culture had its own program: Gupy Coins, the Culture Committee and projects with the People team. This case study brings together the three fronts I worked on.

Part 1 · recognition

Feedback as a habit

In Gupy Coins, recognizing someone was public feedback: what the person delivered, how they acted or what they learned.

What happened

  1. Every day

Recognize on the spot, with the reason

I made recognition a habit with my team and with everyone who crossed paths with my work: deliverables, attitudes and lessons learned.

  2. 2023

    Top 1 in Marketing

238recognitions given in the year, more than double the 2nd place

I was also among the 3 most recognized people.

Part 2 · committee and hiring

Culture in decisions and in hiring

In 2022, I was selected for the Culture Committee, alongside the People team.

What happened

  1. Committee

    Initiatives tied to the values

I took part in decisions on culture initiatives and on how the company's values showed up day to day.

  2. For 2 years

    Culture-fit interviews

    Jr → leadershiproles I evaluated

I interviewed candidates for Gupy, assessing culture fit, for roles from junior analyst up to director level.

Part 3 · Impulsionar Project

Teams that are heard more and more engaged

Selected leaders launched team engagement plans, to increase participation in climate surveys and have more satisfied employees. I was on the Engagement and Development front.

What happened

  1. Listen

    Listening and alignment

I listened to people, aligned with the HRBPs and collected employee feedback.

  2. Question

    Questions for the other teams

I brought the other fronts the question of how to deliver the initiatives in a way that would motivate the teams more.

  3. Deliver

What came out of the project

Clearer processes between teams, feedback collection rounds, and initiatives and reminders to fill in the pulse surveys, the weekly climate survey.
